Proposed Cross Section

Site: Bond Street Station, London
The notorious overcrowding on Oxford Street, limited breathing space and the overwhelming façades, shops and people could be seen to deter people from shopping in real life, to shopping online, in the comfort of their own homes.Post-Pandemic, people have become accustomed to online shopping and working from home, is there a way to bring people back into Oxford Street and regulate the overcrowding and hyper-activation within the Street and surrounding buildings?
Proposal:
A retreat, and escape from the busyness of Oxford Street, a place to gather and meet. A break for shoppers, a tourist destination for people to appreciate the views around Oxford Street. As well as building users.
